Jackie and her husband Bill celebrated their upcoming 70th wedding anniversary on Jackie's 92nd birthday by renewing their vows. Family members came from all over the country to witness this special Senior Wish surprise! Jackie loved her beautiful bouquet which was provided by Huddart Floral Company.

Margaret wanted to “go for a fast ride in a blue Porsche”. Thanks to Intermountain Region Porsche Club of America and club member Diane, who owns a beautiful 2009 Sapphire Blue Metallic Porsche 911 Carrera S, Margaret’s wish was granted. Margaret’s driver Eric raced her around the track at Utah Motorsports Campus, exceeding speeds of 100 miles per hour! Margaret really appreciated this memorable experience!

Thanks Rapunzel from Princess Parties by Natalie for reading and singing to a young CNS patient. The visit from Carson’s favorite princess totally made his day!

A big thank you to ABC4 Utah - Good4Utah for making Kathy’s Senior Wish come true by donating their suite at Vivint Smart Home Arena. Kathy and her family had a fantastic time at a recent performance of Disney On Ice. Thank you to AK Studio & Design for capturing a very special time for the family, who were all grateful for the opportunity.

Troy, a patient in the Price office, has a special pair of cowboy boots that he wore 30 years ago during his rodeo days as a bareback rider. For sentimental reasons, he did not want to part with them even though they were very worn. The boots needed a major overhaul. The CNS Senior Wish Program took on the challenge to get them repaired and this past month, Diane Moore, Senior Wish Program Director, presented Troy’s boots to him. He was pleased and grateful for his newly restored boots!

Debby and Jann from SLC Tap who recently visited CNS patient Robert at Avalon Valley Rehabilitation Center. Robert, who was a very talented tap dancer back in the day, thoroughly enjoyed the special performance which brought him many cherished memories.

A big thank you to Rick Potokar, a member of the Beehive A’s Model A Ford Club of Northern Utah for granting David’s Senior Wish. It was a very memorable experience for David and his daughter Laurie. They had a marvelous time cruising around Ogden in the beautifully restored 1931 Ford and stopping for ice cream at the historic Asael Farr & Sons Co. 

Thank you Ben and KSL Chopper 5 for making Selene’s wish come true. She and her daughter really enjoyed their helicopter flight.

Even though the fish weren't biting, Teresa (center) enjoyed the company of her friends and the beautiful scenery during her Senior Wish fishing outing to Mantua Reservoir.

A big thank you to Brady Watterson and his family for granting Ray’s ‪‎SeniorWish‬ to ride a horse again. Ray absolutely loved being back in the saddle again and appreciated the kindness everyone showed him and his family. Brady’s young son made the evening extra special when he presented Ray with a beautiful belt buckle from his father’s extensive rodeo competition collection. 

Our Logan patient, Brent and his friend, Dee enjoyed Brent’s Senior Wish experience at the Golden Spike National Historic Site recently. We appreciate Maddox Ranch House in Brigham City treating these two train enthusiasts to lunch. 

Mr. “C” taught music at Highland High School for forty years, from 1956 to 1996.  His Senior Wish was to return to the music room after all these years and hang out with some of his old students.  Over 150 people came to visit Mr. “C” and he had a marvelous time singing and playing the piano.  Thanks to current music teacher, Katie Houston for helping out and giving up her room for the evening and to Utah Food Services for supplying the delicious refreshments.  Smith’s Food & Drug Stores, Costco and Cookie Tree Bakeries also donated to the Open House for Mr. “C”. Mr. “C” taught music at Highland High School for forty years, from 1956 to 1996. Family members from across the country joined CNS patient Wilford Young, a member of the 1947 Utah Symphony which was the same year Maurice Abravanel became Conductor. Mr. Young had a chance to attend the Utah Symphony this past week through a CNS Senior Wish. He shared cherished memories and stories with musicians backstage prior to the concert and was recognized at the intermission reception. Bravo Wilford!

Also, thank you Mike Eames at RMR SLC - Rocky Mountain Raceways for granting Bill’s Senior Wish. He loved the thrill of drag racing!

Little America Hotel generously donated a tower room for Provo patient Eugene and his wife Clara so they could celebrate their 61st anniversary in style. Clara said with much gratitude, “We had a wonderful, restful time. The accommodations were perfect and the food delicious. You really made us feel special!”

Twins and retired nurses, Esther and Ethel have been CNS patients for many years. They enjoy painting. What better place to use their artistic talents than Jackson Hole, Wyoming! The Parkway Inn hosted Esther, Ethel and their sister Elaine for three nights. They had a marvelous time, saying “Everything was just wonderful; we are so grateful to have been chosen for a wish!”

CNS patient Ruth and her husband Michael enjoyed a special retreat compliments of the Zermatt Resort in Midway. According to Ruth, it was "wonderful and perfect." The Zermatt staff provided VIP service making Ruth's Senior Wish a special and memorable experience.

Richard's Senior Wish to tour the Provo City Center Temple was made possible thanks to Mobility Transportation Services. Thank you Spencer for the safe and caring transport for Richard and his family.

Jim, a CNS patient living at The INN Between, a hospice house for the homeless, is a veteran but had never jumped out of a plane. His dream to experience skydiving became a reality when he visited iFLY Utah, the simulated skydiving experience In Ogden. Jim laughed the entire time he was in the simulator and called his Senior Wish skydiving experience “a blast!”  

The Utah Jazz brought joy to our CNS patient, Robert, by hosting him and his sons at Thursday night's game. Robert enjoyed his Senior Wish experience.

ClubRec and the Senior Wish Program granted Jan's wish to spend the day on a UTV exploring the beautiful mountains near Hardware Ranch. Jan said she felt like "a whole new person!" while spending a perfect day with her family & friends.
